ShowMessage function

GBPVR.Public.PluginHelperFactory.getPluginHelper().ShowMessage(msg);

works fine in main menu (or sub-menus), but not during playback, or even paused playback (music yes, video, tv - no).

Any idea why?

If I wanted to display a "messge" or info during video playback (or paused video playback, tv, shifted tv, or video) - which interface/code should I use?

Dont use this function, its no longer supported. Its only left there for compatibility reasons.

If you need to display a over video, you need to create an IVideoPlugin.

By the way - if I implement multiple interfaces in the same plugin (makes my life much easier), I undertand the App will create an instance for each interface, correct?
So, at least, is there a way to know (in the CTOR) with which interface I was started?
Also - whether I was started for GBPVR main app, or for the config? (the PluginHelperFactory.getPluginHelper() returns "null" in CONFIG, so I use this dirty method to know. I hope there's a better way I was missing).

Wait - so, now I have my early stages of a IVideoPlugin - showing the message over the video. But what if a video is not playing?
The "ShowMessage" works over menus, etc. Is there a solution to interupt/prompt the user when in menu mode?

Unfortunately, no there isnt. It was never really required by anyone, so nothing like this was added.

Ok so add one to the count. No, I don't use the CallerID:
A. I don't have a phone connection next to that PC.
B. I don't care so much who's calling (see [C]).
C. We cancelled to caller display option from the phone company, so CallerID will not work at all.

However, my alfa version of new plugin d/l count is zero, but I (will) use it (and I don't need to download my own plugin...). so do count++;
