I pressed the record button, and then tried to stop the recording. It didn't respond to the stop button.

I am using the MCE remote.

you'll have to provide a bit more info than that...

where were you when you pressed record, were you watching live TV?

or do you mean you created a scheduled recording from the TV guide and then wanted to cancel it?
