Integrated Foobar or Winamp music playback

I'd really like to see this feature added to gbpvr see this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16955.

All the current music modules seem to be dependent on wmp directshow based playback. Much better sounding bit perfect playback (with 44.1kHz hardware) is available via kernel streaming audio using winamp or foobar.

I second that! I have just installed foobar with the kernel streaming plugin, and what a difference in sound it makes! I use the digital out (S/PDIF) and the sound is now perfectly clear and crisp. As with a high quality CD player. Without kernel streaming the digital audio goes through the Windows KMixer which transcodes the audio to 48 kHz and does other stuff like mixing and volume changes. Some audio drivers lets you change the output sampling frequency to 44.1 kHz (like my Realtek 883), bit it is still not bit perfect. Seems like only kernel streaming or ASIO lets you do this.

Media Portal has a foobar plugion so it must be possible in some way to achieve this in GB-PVR too. The best option would be to have it natively in GB-PVR for *all* audio. That would let us listen to net radio, movies etc with bit perfect digital passthrough to a receiver.
