I made an assumption that sizes in textstyles are based on "Points" (1pt = 1/72 inches).
I think I am wrong when I say 13pt fonts. Is it in fact pixels instead? Also, there is apparently a bit of "padding" around text. If so, is it a fixed value or a ratio?
I am trying to develop some "rules of thumb" when using text because somethimes the height allowed for text strings is too much, or not enough. There is alot of trial and error and guessing.
Anyone have something to go by?
