Matrox Marvel G450 eTV, any experiences?

Hi ppl,

Noob here, recently came across the PVR world and found out that I have that Matrox card in one of the computers.

Anyone has any experiences with that card?

no personal experience, but everything i've heard says that that is supposed to be one of the best tv-out cards ever made...
it was actually designed with tv-out in mind,not as an afterthought..
even tho i think the newest crop of hi-end cards might be slightly better,it certainly won't disappoint...
pretty sure it has mpeg accelleration as well..

It should be fine as the tv-out card, but its important to note that the tv capture portion of this device is not compatible with GB-PVR.

i c...no wonder i couldnt get it to work with GB-PVR...i thought i was doing something wrong :p
