Shouldn't the gbpvr logo at the top left of the forums link to GBPVR.com, and not just back to the forum???
That way I could quickly jump between the homepage and the forums (the home page/wki already has pleanty of return links to the forums) or maybe I'm missing something....

I always think this of many forums - I think it is the vBulletin default to point to the forum home page, I know it is for PHPBB...

Maybe with Sub's upcoming redesign he might make the change for you...

I think we could do with a more prominent link to the wiki from the forums too

Yeah most forums do that, but to be honest, I've started using it to get back to the to the main forum page and I'm so used to it now that I'd rather not change it. I'll probably stick a link somewhere else though.

As ever, it's your call sub but I kinda agree with fuzzweed's logic. You can always return to the forums 'home' using the thread tree hyperlinks just below the logo (see included screen snippet with the 'home' hyperlink shown in red).

Yeah, I know what you mean, and if you'd asked much earlier I probably would have done it. Remember I've probably clicked on the logo in the top left about 1000 times a day for the last year or so... its hard to break a habit if you dont have to.

Now, now...I must've told you a million times not to exaggerate. Big Grin

To be honest, I don't use either link so it doesn't really effect me. The main forums page is set as my homepage in IE so I just use the IE Home toolbar button if I need to.

Cheers,
Brian

When I typed that I did have to think 'how many times a day do I click that?'. Its definitely more than a hundred. '200' might have been more accurate.

Of course, the link to gbpvr.com is in the bottom right. It took me a while to find it and then a little while longer to remember that it was there. I use it a lot, because I like to go to the wiki too. Haven't found the link for that yet Wink
