Uninstalled from C:\program files and installed to D:\ - did copy the Config.xml but cannot see any references to C:\program files in there.

When I run up config on my recordings plugin, it still trys to get the skin file from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\blue

Command used is: skinHelper = new SkinHelper(PluginDirectory, "skin.xml");

Plugin directory being "Recordings2". Log is attached.

I checked the registry and is says d:\gbpvr

It wasnt intentional, but I'm guessing there is something hardcoded in the fallback mechanism to the blue skin. I'll take a look when I'm back in front of my development computer tomorrow.

Yes, there is a default value that points to c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\blue. This value is usually over written soon after with the real value but in the case of config.exe it didnt. I never noticed becase I dont load the skin helper for my screens in the config app. My plugins all load the skinhelper in the first activate().

So I'm guessing the problem you noted is only occuring in config.exe, not also in gbpvr.exe?

I'll fix it for the next build.

I couldn't tell since it was a reinstall and the task didn't show up.

I've shifted it below a test if it's the config app. I've got skinhelper.gettranslations on the name and description other wise they wont work or I'd put it in the activate as well..

Do I need to do that above?? The skintranslations?? If not then i could look at using activate as well.

You shouldnt need to do translations on the name and descriptions. This should happen automatically.

Ok, I can remove all that to activate then.

And I saw your other post, I'll give it a go when I get home tonight.
