Well, I wrote in the "dutch cable" topic that it works for sweden too. And it does, it's just that when I was going to do it for real this time (I've only added a few channels before, to try things) the darn assistant won't help me =)

For some reason it seems that all the channels I'm interested in happen(?) to have the same channel numbers as they do in WinTv2000. Except for one. So, I do my EPG update, and then change the channel numbers to the ones taken off wintv2000. Now, I have this last channel, "kanal5" to enter channel number for. I start the tuning assistant for some help, but it crashes, with the fun "send error report to microsoft"-window. Now, I know that wouldn't help :-)

Sub, are there any log files that could help you help me understand what the problem is? Would it help if I sent you the error report that Microsoft wants? =)

Did you already try my "FreqCopy" tool? I still have to write some more help on the web site, but the program includes some information too. And if you google on FreqCopy you find several pointers. FreqCopy copies the WinTV frequencies to a handy table, which can be used by GB-PVR (I use it myself...).

Sorry to jump in with something else - so I'm not the only one for whome Tuning assistant cannot be started since 0.227?

Maybe some others could confirm this, it's just 2 mose-clicks to find out?

I have the same problem, tuning assistent crash when I start it..

Event viewer gives the following error message:
Faulting application tuningassistant.exe, version 1.0.0.1, faulting module ivivideo_hauppauge.ax, version 4.5.28.238, fault address 0x000372ad.
