Hello all,

In the same spirit as the other updates I've provided, here's an updated version of "RenameRecordings".....

This version will only work with V97 or higher, and should work with both MSAccess and SQLite.....

Again, my testing was limited, but I think it should do the trick...

Source-code is included, and if you I feel it's a stable release, I'll post the updated code to the Wiki....

Now re-enabled support for the "-t" switch....

Have fun,

I think the ZIP is corrupt. I am getting errors trying to extract it.

This version now works with version 97 of GBPVR if you have SQLite...

Previous version only worked on MSAccess...

That's the only thing I've changed... I left all the other code the same.

Have fun,
Does this work by scanning all recordings and renaming if possible, or only on the last recording? There were 2 different renamerecording(s) utils. The one with the "s" on the end scanned the db and would rename every file that didn't match the subtitle field. The one without the "s" needed the %1 and only did the last recorded show. The zip file doesn't have the "s" but the exe does...

Well,

This is what I pulled from the Wiki, and it's the one I use (the one that expects the show-name as parameter, to be run from PostProcessing.bat).

I don't have access to the source-code of the other one, and to be honest, this one does the trick for me....

Regards,

OK, Thanks

You might want to remove the "s" from any reference to renamerecording then since the one with the "s" is a different util.

This might be the wrong place to ask this because I'm using the old version of RenameRecording, but I recently found a neat transcode utility called AutoXvid. It works with AutoGK to automatically transcode files... although it's originally designed for BTV, the transcoding functions work fine. So I added it to my post-processing.bat after "renamerecording", but it's apparently looking for the original name (i'm using %1 to call the file). Does anyone know if I can use rename recording after the transcode?
