Hi.

Firstly, a big thank you to Sub and the other devs for a bloody great program. It's been running smoothly here for about a fortnight now with very few teething problems.

I have three suggestions that I would like, but obviously cannot say how others would appreciate or whether the coding is worth it.

1. Mouse hover on the GBPVR Tray icon. Currently it merely says "GB-PVR" - can it be changed to dynamically show what's being recorded on each tuner? (I know you can double-click to bring up the Info screen, but I like hovers for other tools)

2. Web guide. I *love* this feature and now do all my programming through it. The search features are great and the tv guide is as clear as it could be. However: One thing I like to do is sit down and browse through the upcoming programs in a big block. I can get this displayed by searching with an empty field - but the results are date sorted and not grouped by series or name. What I would like is a way to display a big list of what's on over the next $days_epg and be able to schedule recordings both for individual programs, and per-series. The existing popup and batch-adding system is fine for the recording aspect, it's just I've been unable to get a name-sorted and grouped guide up.
Similar to the gbpvr.exe's inbuilt browser, but without splitting into A,B,C,D etc. (Which takes forever)

3. More detail on the "Recording Failed". It would be good to know why a recording has failed when added by the web client; because of program conflicts for example - why not show which programs clash. Also, when started out I was very confused why two channels consistently failed - it was because they weren't setup correctly and GBPVR couldn't find a tuner to accept them, but it didn't say that so I was chasing my tail for some time.

Anyway, regardless of whether these suggestions are acted on, it's a fine piece of work. Thanks!

Another vote for this feature. if it is failing due to a conflict, it would be good if it could open another window that would allow you to resolve the conflicts (like you can with gbpvr).

Actually I think all EWA feature requests should be directed to
