wish: no dupes option per show

There are times when I'd love to use the 'no duplicates' option for shows that air the same episode frequently. But there are other times when a show can be preempted, etc, and I want to make sure I record it, so I want to record duplicates for just that one show.

So, when youre setting up a reoccurring recording, it would be a great option to keep duplicates or not in the set up screen, so it can be used on a per show basis.

As it is, I have to disable the no duplicates option, and filter dupes myself.

I use zap2it.

If you don’t mind installing a plugin, RecTracker & CKScheduler do exactly what you're looking for.

X-Record includes both of them, and allows you to remove shows that you want to re-record from the RecTracker DB, or exclude them. Remember to remove the check from avoid duplicates in gbpvr config.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but it's exactly the same question that I have now. Is there anything like RecTracker that is known to work with the current version (99.05)? I see that RecTracker hasn't been updated since late 2005 and likely won't work anymore since GB-PVR is no longer using an MDB file.

What I'm looking for is something that stores a list of programs I have recorded so that they are not recorded again. Not just GB-PVR's duplicate detection, I'd like a running list. RecTracker looks to be exactly what I am looking for, but appears that it may be abandoned. Any insight? Thanks!
