It looks like Microsoft introuduced the final version of IE 7 yesterday. I know that the beta version of IE 7 caused problems with GBPVR - does anyone know if the final release causes the same problems?

Thanks -

I think it will because of the security updates that come along with it, have not confirmed this.

sub has also said that he has fixed these problems for the next release, but does not want to rush it out the door, and cant post a patch, because theyre not binary compatible anymore

With IE7 Beta 3 and IE7 RC1 etc, the recording service was unable to start external processes, which causes lots of stuff to fail (MVP services, comskip, conversion processing, PostProcessing.bat/ParallelProcessing.bat etc...)

This was resolved in v0.98.13, but may also have been fixed by the final release of IE7 - I havnt tried it yet myself.

Well I just recorded a program and ran comskip at the same time with Ie7 installed and it seemed to work just fine.
