I like to record a lot of movies for later viewing and because of this my recordings screen soon gets full of a lot of stuff that i'm not going to watch straight away. The list becomes very long and cumbersome to navigate and it's using up valuable disk space to boot.
What I would really like is a way to physically move a recording from my main recording drive (D: ) to the video library folder which I have on a different drive (E: ). I would also like it to remove the entry in my recordings list so the file only appears in my videos (or wherever). I'm not even too concerned about keeping the details - I would just like the file on a different drive with the entry removed from the recordings screen.
I know the video archiver plugin can do this sort of thing but I seem to remember that still leaves the entry in the recordings screen. This is understandable but it's entirely all this clutter that I want to remove.
I can currently achieve this by doing a cut/paste within windows but i'd love an in-built solution. The Xplorer plugin kind of works for this but it's quite akward to use.
Many apologies if there's an easy answer to this, it's been something that's been bugging me for several months - A simple 'Move to video library' option in the recording screen would be perfect
Anyway, it's no biggy - just one of those things that niggles away at you lol
