The number 1 feature I'm looking for in a PVR is the ability to record every episode of a specific show on any chanel, any time.

For instace. Record every single Simpsons' episodes, but no duplicates.

I'm guessing there are issues with the xml data as I have only found 2 products that do this, and one that works.

Sagetv does this perfectly, meediaportal says it does it, but there are so many other issues with that software that I could not test it.

I like GBPVR best, and this feature would be awesome. As would a search for the recording.

Could this be done in a plugin? If so I may, look into making the plugin.

I'm planning on making some enhancements to the web UI, as I personally just use GBPVR for recording purposes. One of the enhancements I hope to get in place is a keyword search feature.
I have the backend code working, just need to wrap a front end around it.

If I get a chance, I may write a console application that simulates the season pass feature, just run it periodically to refresh the recording scheduler, maybe after GBPVR refreshes the guide data.

No time frame on when this will be done as I've got a day job and a wife to keep happy.

I would like enhacments to the web interface also....

More search options like Keyword search.
Id also like searches to be reocurring, so everything the guide is updated, it searches again.
