Extend current recording

I am interested in a feature that would allow me to extend an in-progress recording.

Example: A football game goes longer than scheduled - I want to extend the recording and have this extension placed in the same file.

Workaround: I schedule the next show to record and then join the streams.

I use your method as well, but would also like the ability to add to the end time.
Either by updating the 'pending' recording stop time, or hit a +5 minutes button once or more.

yeah....i think i asked for this about a year ago, but sub has a lot of stuff going on...and this wasn't high on the priority list. I do the same thing for football games, except i just set the post-show padding to like 60 minutes. I know this gives me a file that is a lot larger (and potentially 60 minutes longer) than is needed, but at least i have 1 file that i can trim down....instead of joining 2. I think that a feature built in for this would be the best solution though, obviously....maybe sub will take another look at adding this.
