I was just wondering if the XRecord plugin finished already or not being supported already. I posted a request a while back regarding the ability to have more than 8 items at a time, I checked the source but am not really familiar on how to recompile it back. I was hoping it could be placed in a newer version.

Thanks

1 dead MVP (searching for replacement)

For all practical purposes, yes. I was a fan of the plugin, but have not seen any further development for a long time. Something to do with the move to .Net 2.0 (I think...)

I use xrecord on my system using gbpvr 98.13 and .net 2 quite happily

It doesnt seem to have been updated in a long time but does seem to work ok, although skinning seems to be a bit of a problem

I use it, but I am worried about it not being supported.

The source code for CDK Scheduler and the XSuite of plugins can be found here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/cdkandxsuite/

Anybody can download and enhance the suite. Ton has been slowly working on it, and will eventually release an update. However, I don't actively work on it at the moment, due to many reasons, but mainly to do with time.

Jorm, Jrock, Ton, Fla, and myself do work on it from time to time, but not like we used too. With that said, anybody can check out the source code, and make enhancements or bug fixes to the code.

I use it almost exclusively, so here's another vote for its continued existence, if possible. I'm afraid I can't help with the programming, though, too-hard-basket! :o

I want to add my vote for its continuance as well as I use it all the time with simple interface, and with all my videos and shows all together. But I also wish that it can be skinned to handle more than 8 shows at a time. I was able to skin it to handle about 18 posters (6x3) but I think it's hardcoded to traverse only 8 posters at a time.
