Well, watching live TV is pretty much not going to happen. But, I can live with that, honestly. HTDV live is very jittery, even after trying all the measures discussed here. Regular TV can't be used in time-shift mode, it gets jittery and out of sync. These things worked fine with this hardware under Vista and WMC, but then it had it's own list of MAJOR issues.

Recording I'm having much better results. For non-htdv (analog cable) everything is GREAT! Even off-air SDTV is good. HDTV opens up a new can of worms.

Replaying the HDTV recordings is spotty. The images will occasinally pixellate, blur, and have other weird issues. I can look at the processor and memory usage and they are very low, definitely not the issue. Also, the scaling on the screen isn't right when watching HTDV recordings... even though the GBPVR menus are way overscanned, I still have a black bar at the left edge of my screen.

If I could just get these minor items working right, I'd be VERY close to a great system!

I'm running XP and GBPVR. Windows Media Center had issues.
