First of all, I just found out I was still on access db, so I gave a new wirl at converting. however got the locked db problem. Tried turning off processing as it is suggested in the survival guide. No luck. Now I can't even reset up my channel list manually as the EGP dosen't import the channels in to the list.

I'm stuck!

Wife is home soon ! heeeeellllp

Its not clear from you post what is happening.

When you tried to do the database conversion what happened? If you got an error, what exactly did the error say?

Ok I've got it solved. I uninstalled, backed upp my old gbpvr dir. Re-installed, re-imported recordings, channel logos, fixed missing channels etc etc. All seem to be working.

Think it was a case of to many upgrades and crap!

Thanks anyway for the speedy reply

PS I there still an contrast/brightness pop up menu? If so, how does one access it?

What video card are you using? I know that popup screen cant be used with some motherboards that onboard video (due to cheap video option not supporting some of the features required for this).
