Take a look at the Enhanced Web Admin. One of the features I plan to add there is a season record option. I need to check with sub but I it appeared that the Scheduling plugin interface only allowed recording once instead of by a season, even if you passed the information to it. I haven't check with the new version that was just released.
Regardless, you can now at least search by keyword, and find all the channels an episode may be on and the times. You could then schedule each of these episodes to record.
