1) If I set the sourceCaptureVideoFilterName and SourceCaptureVideoPinName and return the graph, will GB-PVR do the recording or do I have to remux then dump the capture? (I am assuming the audio pin is for both preview and capture.)

2) Does it matter to GB-PVR that my source is a transport stream once I demux it and set the video and audio pins?

3) What is sourceVBI* used for or is it something I need not worry about?

Its there for historic reasons, and not used. It only ends up using the sourcePreviewVideoFilterName/sourcePreviewVideoPinName and sourceAudioFilterName/sourceAudioPinName pins.

No.

No. It was used for teletext etc in the PAL parts of the world.

What device/source is your new recording plugin going to handle? HDHomeRun?

Thanks for the quick reply!

Yup that's the one. Smile I got it somewhat working with External Recorder, VLC and an executable I wrote but it's iffy. Since then I've been able to code a filter graph that I can use to view it. So when I found a post about your getPreviewGraph, I was ecstatic. Big Grin

BTW, they have mentioned that they are planning a DVB-T version. Do you use that or is it DVB-S?

I currently use a mix of DVB-C and DVB-S, but we'll be getting DVB-T also some time next year.
