I have 7967 open, but I still have trouble streaming the mpg files through GBPVR. I can browse across the network and play the files using Nero Showtime, or view them locally using GBPVR. However, when the client using GBPVR tries to view, I get this message (on the client):

Zip and attach the client and server logs and I'll take a look.

Also wondering... If you are using .Net remoting... are you using TCP/IP or Named Pipes... and if Named Pipes... what port is default for that?

Here's something new. I was on the client, and wanted to set up the server to record something in the future. I figured it wasn't streaming, it might work. I got this error:
Error: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

I'm attaching logs from immediatly after that.

TCP/IP port 7967 is used for streaming media. TCP/IP port 7968 is used for .net remoting communication with the server.

I'm going to try to open this on my router.
It's interesting... Even though I got the error on the client, when I went to the server it was set to record the show.

I'm not really sure. I've had a good look at the logs, but there was no obvious cause. It actually looked like the video was streaming for quite a while in those logs. Was it working for a while?

Its probably worth checking if the recording service is running on the server when you get this error. If it is running, then I suspect a firewall problem.
