I have been having the same problems with the webadmin tools for some time, but haven't asked for help (so this isn't a new problem with the new version of gbpvr)

I can pull up the web interface on port 7647 without any problems, and can view what has been recorded, and changing settings as the admin user. However, I have a lot of problems using the search functionality and the tv guide. Using firefox, if I try to search for anything, I receive the following error:

Quote:XML Parsing Error: no element found
Location: http://10.0.0.60:7647/gbpvr/Search.aspx
Line Number 1, Column 1:
^

If I am using internet explorer, I receive the message that 'The Page Cannot be Displayed'.

Similarly, when using the TV Guide, the first page comes up ok. If I try to view the next page of listings, I receive this error:

Quote:XML Parsing Error: no element found
Location: http://10.0.0.60:7647/gbpvr/Guide.aspx
Line Number 1, Column 1:
^

Does this look familiar to anyone?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

From searching on the Internet it appears this could be a Security issue on your system.....are you running the GBPVR Recording Service under a local account vs. a system account? If not, try that.....

Also found several references about FireFox plugins being a problem causing the message......resolution for some people was as follows:

"Same deal with me on Firefox 2.0. Started up in safe mode, disabled all extensions, started up regularly no problem, enabled extensions a few at a time until all were added back and Firefox started back up ok. "
