I just (2 weeks ago) reinstalled GBPVR after trying to get knopp myth working for about ... 5 months.

Anyways, comskip isn't running even though i set it to in the config. Do I need to download it and put it in the directory? I am not home now, but i will be home in 4 hours from now (7PST).

Thanks for the help

Yep, you need to unzip and place the comskip files into the GBPVR directory. Download your preferred version from this page.

Even if you save the files in to /gbpvr directory and set it up correctly in config, there's a small chance it will not work. I'm also in this minor category.

I found there are 2 workarounds.

1. Use postprocessing.bat "comskip.exe %1"
2. Use comskip monitor that you can download from sagetv forum. This application is just a system service that checks for new recordings as run comskip. It also deletes comskip generated txt edl files, if you delete the recordings.

You just need to have the comskip files in the GB-PVR directory and enabled in the config app, but if you have created a PostProcessing.bat then this overrides the configured comskip options, and PostProcessing.bat will be run instead. ...so I'm guessing you've created a postprocessing.bat file (or something else you've installed has).
