Implement an option to stop the recording of duplicate episodes

It would be nice to have a tick box somewhere on the config screens to disable the recording of duplicate episodes. The name and subtitle would have to be used to check if the same program has already been recorded.

The main use of this would be where all episodes of a program are automatically recorded. Some programs are repeated regularly. Maybe it should only apply to those programs which are only scheduled automatically.

name and subtitle information are not reliable enough to be used for this. For the majority of counrties and channels, the subtitle just carries some generic description about the show that is repeated for each and every episode.

As scb147 says, there is already an option for duplicate detection, but this relies on extra show identifier info the zap2it listings.
