Screen Saver Replacement/Enhancement

Hey Guys,

Last night I was surfing around the GBPVR wiki and I thought I stumbled across a plugin or utility that added a custom screen saver as an option.

The screen saver simulated a bunch of particles and a gravity well, as well as other settings. I didn't download the plugin (stupid) and now I can't find it. If I remember correctly the screen saver was an additional feature, not the primary feature.

Did I dream this up (cause it was really late) or did I actually find a plugin like this?

sounds like your describing WMP visualizations... (you sure you werent playing music at the same time?)

Nah, no music and it definetly wasn't WMP visualizations.

I only remember reading the documentation and it talked about the number of particles and strength of gravity wells and stuff. It sounded like it was describing an amped up version of an old program called AbszOrb. I can't remember for the life of me what the plugin was for or what it did, because as I said the screen saver wasn't the primary function.....

I'm on a mission to find it, I'm pretty sure I saw it on the wiki. I'll go through every link on there if I have to.

I found it. Unfortunetly it wasn't a GBPVR plugin, but rather a small program I was looking for to turn my computer monitor off by remote. The program is called Wizmo and its a command line tool to do a variety of different stuff.

I guess I was a little burnt out when I found it. I haven't played with it at all yet, seeing as I'm trying to configure comskip, but hopefully it will be fun.
