Video Archive: Multiple directories under 1 logical name

I have multiple disks with archived videos, thus I have 3 directories setup in Video Library. This is a bit of a pain since I often can't recall which location I have the video I'm looking for, so I have to click each and scroll through the list looking for it. I'd love to be able to have all my videos organized under one logical name so that I could see the entire list alphabetically.

Maybe I just don't get your question. :confused: I have my videos distributed on 6 disks, and VideoArchive i my lifesaver, as i lets me do exactly what you are asking for.

One thing though - I have all my disks set up idetically, so I have a
D:\PVR\Recordings
E:\PVR\Recordings
F:\PVR\Recordings
...

This way, I simply copy stuff around. So I might have 3 recordings of e.g. CSI in
D:\PVR\Recordings\CSI
and another 13 in
F:\PVR\Recordings\CSI

This is transparent in VA, that just lists all the recordings in one listing.

Well, I don't know why I wrote Video Archive other than I was thinking about trying it. What I meant to say was the standard Video Library. I'll try and update my earlier post.

Good to hear (?) that you were referring to the built-in video plug-in. This particular problem was the one that the video archive plug-in was originally built to solve and, while I am of course biased, I thought that it always solved it better than the other video plug-ins :-)
