I have a PVR-350 which has a built in FM radio. WHen I try to use it in GB-PVR it says it can't contact the recording service. I assume this just means that it is unsupported since it works using their software.

For anyone who has this problem in the future, I solved it. On Hauppauge's web site you will see that you need not only their basic software, but also a media plug in for the FM radio. I didn't install their software because I am using GB-PVR isntead. Since I noticed that plug-in, I got it and installed it alone. It turns out to contain drivers for the FM radio that are necessary for it to function. Now the MVP and GB-PVR both have radio functionality!

I have 2 WinTV-PVR-150MCE and both have FM radio, but GB-PVR doesn't see the radio HW. Where is this media plugin for FM radio on Hauppauge's web site? I can't find anything. Using driver 3.1F version.

Or posted in the support forum rather than the Wishlist? I have the 350 and while I don't have it currently setup, I have used the FM radio in the past with no problem. |
