which video card is better

My motherboard has an onboard Nvidia Quadro NVS 210S / Nvidia GeForce 6150LE. I also have a GeForce FX5200. Which is the better card?

Also, which method offers the best video quality, VGA or S-Video? The 5200 has an S-Video out connector. If it's the better card, I'd like to use the interface that will provide the best picture. My tv is a 37' LG 720 LCD.

What factors (video card settings, etc) are important regarding picture quality?

On that same note, how does the picture quality of gbpvr compare to connecting a DVD player directly to my tv? I'm a bit new to the pc dvr's and am concerned I'll be losing quality by using a dvr.

I'd say VGA, unless you can get DVI/HDMI. But try with s-video and see if you like it better, that's the easiest way to go

Yes, you'll loose quality. And that's not GBPVR's fault, the same is true with any software you use to play back video. The good news is that with a good graphics card you won't loose *much* quality (with a bad card you will, though), and the benefits far exceed the downsides. Besides, you can still keep your dvd for playing dvd's if you want to. I do

I think the GeForce 6150LE may provide a better picture.
I have a pci 6200 & an AGP 5200 & I think the 6200 provides a slightly better picture.
