Hi Sub,
How close is H+ support? P.

Not very close at all. From memory, on my last post on the subject I said I'd implement support for the XCard but probably not the Hollywood+.
I wont say never, but I don't own one, and its not high on my priority list. Sorry.

Sorry meant XCard, I'm hoping Sash's drivers will allow the H+ to emulate the Xcard.
This project will only really come alive for me when 1) I can buy a silent PC in a full width form factor at a reasonable price, like http://www.rebach.com/produkt_dvpc.php but at an affordable price 2) When DVB cards are supported. The noise introduced into the broadcast signal by analogue transmission cause too many artifacts, even though the 250/350 are extremely good. 3) And the H+/Xcard, which will allow for playback of DVD directly, which unfortunatetly the 350 doesn't allow for. But keep plugging away, we are on the cusp, the all singing all dancing lounge HTPC is not far away. PN

sub, if you want an H+ card you can have my old one. I've no use for it in the forseeable.
PM me with an address and it's yours, box and all

I think the price of shipping to me here in NZ is probably more than the price of the card, but I appreciate the offer.
In other news, the XCard is now in my machine and I have began my disection of how its software works.

Is it possible to use Hollywood+ with GBPVR? Anyone tried yet?

I think its unlikely the Hollywood+ will work - sorry. XCard support is now in place.

With sash's drivers you might get MPEG2 to play... Though I have not tested it...

I also think that the NetStream2000 card would work since the OSD handling is done in the same way... Also MPEG2 should work with this card...
