I updated my non-GB system today w/ .net 3.0. Not going to touch my pvr until the damage reports start coming in.

Are they improvements that will mean a new GB rollout?

The .net 3.0 package does not include any changes to libraries in 2.0
It is really an add-on pack for Dot Net which includes libraries for using WinFX.
It won't break anything already using 2.0

I hear this all the time at work when a big push is going through and it ALWAYS breaks something Smile

I put the same amount of faith into anything that is touted as being a "seamless transition" Wink

Yes, but no 2.0 libraries have been updated, ergo, no breaking....

hahaha, do I live in the real world???

no, no, no..you're dreaming. see you are coming to a logical conclusion based on sound information about a computer upgrade...what I have found in my years of pc support is that they do not alwasy behave as expected, and trying to logically determine the root cause of the issue ends in frustration.
