SearchWiz - New Plugin

[JavaWiz]

As my first attempt to create a plugin and skin, I've written SearchWiz.

Features:
- Search by program title or Description
- On PC, utilize both mouse and keyboard for navigation
- On MVP, phone-keys on remote or on-screen keyboard
- Schedule/Cancel selected program
- View live program
- Displays program image if exists in Media/Art directory

I've included the compiled code, skins and source code used.

** This is my first attempt at a GBPVR plug-in and first CSharp program. Any suggestion and/or comments are welcome.

This is such a great plugin with the keyboard feature that i have been longing for. Some suggestion i would love to have is the listing of episodes once you search for example: I love new your - Momma said lock you out. the episode does not list and i couldn't figure out which episode to record.

Also if you can include a feature like duplicate recording once you have recorded the show before.

Not sure I understand what you mean here. Does the episode listing show in the TV Guide. I am using the same source for the details, so if it is not there, I probably cannot provide it.

Good idea. I'll see if I can do this in a future version.

BTW: I just upload a new version that has better filter capabilities.

For example, you can list ALL movies showing right now simply by selecting:

• Set Filter
  
• Time Period: Now
  
• Genre Filter: Scroll down (Channel up/dn will scroll page) and select Movie
  
• Select OK (on filter dialog)
  
• Then click 'Search' (no need to enter anything in Title text box)
  

A list of all the currently playing movies will be listed. Shows currently playing will show a Yellow bullet by their time.

once you search for a show, lets say NBA basketball, the sub title does not show up in the description. i cant know which game to record. only the show and description shows up but the subtitle does not. you can try searching NBA basketball and you will see that the only information that shows is the show name and the description, you cant tell whose playing by looking at the information the search wiz provides and these information is in the TV listing and for example show search plugin provides this information. thanks and i hope i make my self clearer this time. if yu want me to attach a screen shot of show search plugin that provides the subtitle , i can.

Done. v0.3.1 includes sub-titles in the description.

I have not coded for the duplicate shows yet tho. I'm thinking most likely an indicator in the Times list will show if it has already been recorded (and possibly some notation in the recording dialog)
