Are the numbered buttons supposed to work as advertized in the MVP Manual when using GB-PVR? They don't do anything for me.

They don't do anything for me. sub has implemented the buttons differently from the Hauppauge software. An example is the mute button. Hauppauge has it, GB-PVR doesn't. This is one time we would say to not RTFM... Anyway, the numbers will work as numbers and if you're on a menu and want the fourth item, the number 4 will pop that up for you....

I see. I was hoping they would provide the ability to quickly move through a video.
"When watching a video, you can quickly skip through the video by hitting the 0-9 buttons. When you hit one of these keys, you will skip to, for example, 10% of the video file when you hit the '1' key, 20% of the video file when you hit the '2' and so forth."
Is there any other way to do something like this?

you can do that, hit a number like 5 and then the advance button and it will skip 5 minutes

The skip button jumps forward a minute by default.
Optionally you can type a number of minutes before pressing the skip button. ie, 24-skip will jump forward 24 minutes. |
