Build 58 of EWA has been released. You can download it here or on the wiki.

This upgrade requires GBPVR 99.12 or higher to work.

ZapTools Users if you have not yet upgraded to latest Version of ZapTools you will need to do so to use any version of EWA higher than build 54.
You can download from wiki....read the upgrade instructions.

Date: 2007-03-01 Build Number: 58 Changes:

Have you upgraded to the new GBPVR? I forgot to mention (now added to the top) that this release will only work with the 99.12 version of GBPVR becuase of the new method that was added in this release....

I really like the Save Search concept!! But it doesn't appear to include the channels in the saved list. I select Movie genre and then select only certain channels to avoid certain kinds of movies (LIFE - yuck ;-). Would you consider adding support for saving the channels if they are selected?

I'll look tonight....channels should be saved with the search.

Are you selecting one channel in the search?

I selected multiple channels and I don't see them highlighted when I select the saved search. The single genre, Movie, is selected.

I am unable to duplicate this....seems to be working fine for me....

When you saved the search are you sure that you had selected channels prior to clicking the save button?

Bring up your saved search (selecte it from the drop down).....select the channels you want and click save (this will update your search).....do the channels still not appear?

If the above does not work.....

What bowser are you using?

Post your web-saved-searches.xml found in the gbpvr directory.

OK. It worked. I must have modified a saved one and forgot to press the save. Sorry. Glad it works!

Now, what if.... we could get the Zap2IT movie's to match up to their IMDB counterparts to get the ratings and then sort by those ratings. That would be the bomb!!! I spend sooo much time sifting through movies (chasing the IMDB link) to see if a movie is worth watching. The * ratings from Zap2IT are very poor indicators in many instances (I-Robot got a 2 1/2!!!) and they aren't showing up on many movies lately anyhow (problem with the download?).

I would bet that if you searched by movie title and the name of one of the actors it would hit on just one 99% of the time. I guess IMDB is going to discourage you from being able to do this, though, since it means you wouldn't see their advertising.

If IMDB is out of the question, I wonder if other places, like Metacritic would have a way to link?

Do you use the Zap2it EPG and if so do you have Zaptools installed?
