The TV listings are off by 1 hour. Located in Canada which just had the new, 3 week earlier, "Daylight Savings Time" come into effect. The computers clock managed to adjust automatically but not GBPVR.

Solution:
Update http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_dst and empty the EPG in the GBPVR config utility. MS supports Win2000 to Vista. A reboot is not required.
Workarounds include hacking your timezone or waiting 3 weeks.
The issue may arise again should the USA decide the new DST is useless. Personally, I hate the changes.

Does an 'empty epg' followed by an 'update epg' correct the issue for you?

Empty your epg and reload it.
I emptied mine from the config page of the capture source.

Sub beats me to the punch once again..

Btw, I had a weird issue with the DST stuff. I was away for the weekend but have rockettime installed and figured that would fix the DST issue.

It didn't, but that's probably because rockettime gives a GMT or something of that effect and settings on your computer determine what timezone and if DST is in effect changing the time rockettime uses to update your clock.

I ended up using TZedit early Monday morrning which fixed the time, but the strange thing is, my recordings on Sunday night still worked. The guide was 1 hour off (earlier) for the programs and since my clock was 1 hour early, it worked. Just didn't really make sense why it worked.
The good news is I managed to stay in the good graces, I just want to know who to thank!

Man, mine's a mess. It happens to be right on right now, but it wasn't earlier and it doesn't look good later. Everything's skewed an hour off. i.e. 24 on at 8 instead of 9. I'm just gonna have to record whatever's showing in the right time-slot.

My little timekeeper program didn't catch it and when I tried to just make the manual change and empty/reload epg things seemed to go haywire. Turns out after applying the little M$ patch and numerous epg empty/reload sessions things aren't much better. I even made some channel edits hoping to prime the pump, but to no avail lol.

I'm assuming it's just an effed up Zap2ItLabs issue but what the Hell do I know. Hopefully it'll clear itself up in the next couple days. Until then it's babysitting the thing so I don't miss any Top Model or American Idol etc. etc. for the better half. If she's unhappy I can't spend money on a lot of computer stuff that's supposedly for the PVR Wink.

Cheers

Someone posted that they had to empty the epg for all of their capture sources and then reload. Also get the patch from the survival guide for the recurring recording not scheduling after a manual EPG update if you haven't already.

Winxp should have applied this patch for you automatically. I'm on win2k so I had to use tzedit to get it to use DST. I also had to bring up the date/time menu and go into the timezone tab and hit ok.
At that point my clock changed.

I had apply DST changes automatically and had done a reboot since running tzedit but for whatever reason it didn't work until I hit the ok in the date/time timezone menu.

I'm having the same problem. Emptying the EPG didn't appear to do anything. It also claimed all scheduled recordings would be lost and they weren't, so maybe it didn't REALLY empty the EPG.It looks like the only way to make it right was to roll the clock back on my PC an hour to make things line up.

Any solution to this?

I'm not aware of anyone having to do anything more than an 'empty epg' on all their capture sources, followed by an 'update epg'. Most people didnt have to do anything.

Do you have multiple capture source? If so, did you empty them all before doing the update epg?

Sub,

Nope, I only have the one card, and I even went so far as to delete the capture source and then recreate/repopulate it from scratch.

No matter what I do, everything is one hour off.

Would upgrading to 99.12 make a difference?
