Without apparent reason GBPVR locks up. In the logs I found that the database is locked, switched the SQL logging on and restarted GBPVR. It still reports the database locked. Only after restarting the machine GBPVR started working again. Do the logs tell anything to anybody?

Have you rebooted since setting <LogSQL>true</LogSQL>? It looks like the lock occurred before you started logging the SQL, so seems to be missing the critical activity that produced the problem. Can you reboot, then reproduce the problem, then post the logs again?

Have you noticed any pattern of activity prior to it happening?

The activity before it happening was quite normal. I did reboot after setting the SQL logging (last logfile) but nothing happened since then. The 1 and 2 files are from after setting the logging, but before rebooting.

Do you have any PostProcessing.bat, updateEPG.bat or PostUpdatEPG.bat files?

Yes I use postprocessing and updateepg batch files (not postupdateepg but do run comskip in parallelprocessing).

I do not access the database from the batch files however.

Updateepg I can easily do using windows scheduled tasks if needed (all it does is grabbing the data). Postprocessing runs the contig command to defrag and checks whether the disk is near full to transcode the oldest file if needed (the latter has not happened recently).

Unfortunately the error is only present in the 1 and 2 files, not after the reboot, so they dont log the SQL from the event that cause it to be locked.

Now that you've got the SQL logging, attach the logs again next time it happens and I'll take another look.
