Priority

Hi,
First of all I want to say great program! I tested some of the comercial ones but found no one that I liked as much as this one.

One really nice fature that seems to be missing though is the abilty to set diffrent priorities on series (when choosing to record the entier season). Sometimes they overlap eachother and it would be nice to be able to choose that if x and y overlaps, record y.

Yes, this will reasonably high on the todo list and will be done some time soon.

I've got a kinda similar request, so I'll just hijack this thread

Would it be possible when recording a season, to specify to only record shows at a certain time, or between certain times?

Lots of stuff on satellite gets shown two or three times per evening so it would be nice to be able to record, for example, the last showing.

Here an interesting thought to consider, if shows had priorities, would you allow it to delete something already recorded which had a low priority to allow it to record something else which had a higher priority?

I think snapstream handles recording priorities in the best way.. It has a separate screen which lists all the scheduled recordings, be it season or one off. Recordings at the top of the list have the highest priority and ones at the bottom the lowest. You can the move recordings up and down the list depending on what priority you want to give them.

That way when two recordings clash its always your most favorite program out of the two that gets recorded. If this could be implemented into GB-PVR that would be great.
