Sub,
The search tv-guide has helped me several times now. It has been a very good idea of yours to add this feature. But scrolling the alphabet takes some time and about 25 keypresses to get to the z (which is quite common in Dutch and German). It would be far easier to use the telephone-style input. Just press the "9" four times and you're at the z.

Is that feasible?

You can press the skip keys to jump forward or back a page. I'm not really a huge fan of telephone style input.

Why aren't you a fan of telephone style input? I have another suggestion. Use T9 mobile phone style input instead. You don't actually use T9 because you don't use real words, but the titles of the shows that you are searching on. This would be especially useful for song and shows. Here is an example: If I want to look for "West Wing", I would type into my MediaMVP remote "9, 3, 7, 8" which spells "west". Then the search box could narrow down your search to all titles that start with words using those characters. A friend of mine uses this method for a media server that he built, and the functionality is wonderful.

As it is, searching is painful for me on the Media MVP. You are doing a great job otherwise. Thanks for the hard work.

yeah, text search like in the jukebox plugin would be great!

and I still don't like that the skip buttons are used both for pgup/pgdown and skip in the mp3 playlist. it also does strange things if you press skip while listening to netradio....
