Hi, anyone out there have a solution to resolve system unable to go to standby with the above version of GBPVR. I have initially installed ver 99.12 but system refused to go standby( okay if goto standby set at 1 minute). I reformat my whole harddisk and revert back to ver 99.05 and standby working fine for a few days but now the system refuse to go standby again. Pls help.

You should try this patch:
http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

Several people (including me) had the same problem you have and had it solved by this patch, which was meant for a different problem.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

It should be possible you have got a virus, troyan or similar infection.
Try to enable screen saver and see if it start after the time you set expires.
If it doesn't start you probably have a hidden process running.

In case you have been infected by a Rootkit you can:
At Sysinternals site download RootkitRevealer and ProcessExplorer and follow the instructions
Other useful progs are: gmer and HijackThis or check googling the net for alternatives...

I should point out that patch is intended to be used on v0.99.12, and may cause problems on earlier versions.

Thanks for the solution. Had installed version 99.12 and with the gbpvrrecording patch. Now I see my PC go to standby and will monitor further to see if it continues to work.

problem came back again on standby. I have installed the recordingservice and mem usage patch on GBPVR 99.12. If I just turn on the system and load GBPVR but without doing anything on GBPVR the system will go to standby without any issue. However if I start to watch live TV or do recording, the system will turn on for good and will never goto standby. Anyone experiencing the same? Thanks.

Try downloading the hibernator but registration not successful. Any other site to download this hibernator? Thanks.

I've not been able to register there either. Fill in the registration form, but never get the email with the details to finish registration.
