Depends what you mean by 'Europe' but if you google for 'hauppauge mvp' you get a few sponsored links selling them in the uk including amazon uk and amazon.com

There's always a few on ebay too Smile

I know i'm having problems here in the UK trying to get hold of another one.

All my usual suspects were out, unless I wanted a wireless model which I don't. Dabs.com have the wireless model in stock, if thats what you're after.

I had an order with a Amazon.co.uk marketplace trader two weeks ago who claimed to have stock of 3 units (easylaptopshop.co.uk) when I ordered. It was only when I started chasing them (10 days after the order was placed, and 5 days after dispatch date), did they admit they were waiting for stock on the 11th of this month. How nice of them to waste almost 2 weeks of my time; order baleeted!!

Most other places seem to be waiting for around this time for stock too, so might be worth waiting a few days then checking. I now have an order with digital-fusion.co.uk who at least had the guts to admit they were out of stock and seem to be about the cheapest around.

/end of rant Wink

Don't trust Salland automatisering, they say they have MVP's in stock, but when you order one they don't, waited for mine for allmost 3 months, canceled it and got one of e-bay, delivered within 2 days !

thanks for the directions & the advice.
A quick look at the prices on tweakers.net really make me envy those in the US with a radio shack nearby...

Yes I agree, although I know that Dynabite (Netherlands) had them for just under €50, for quite a while. Don't know if they still have them.

Here is an interesting thread on sage forums about the new HD MVP that is rumored to be due out:

Might be worth waiting to make your purchase, and could be why the MVP supply is low. Big Grin

I was wondering why the prices were climbing for MVPs on Ebay. I was going to help a friend setup GBPVR with 4 MVPs and then noticed that there weren't as many available on Ebay as there used to be - and the price of a used one seems to have gone up

I been following the forum threads on sagetv and I have not seen anything to indicate the HD media extender will be mvp compatible. Also sagetv does'nt use Hauppauge protocol so even their existing dongle isn't compatible with gbpvr.
