Hey guys,

My genre listbox in the EWA shows some weird things, the first item appears to be a long line of spaces " ", then I have some dates in brackets (01/03/07), and some (what seems to be) program descriptions.

Where does this information come from and how can I fix/remove it?

Thi snormally means your genre info (comes from your EPG provider) in GBPVR is hosed.....do you have complete EPG reload checked in the GBPVR config? If not, then check it and run your EPG load again and see if that corrects it.

Well it's always been like this, and I have recently done some complete EPG reloads. Where does it get this info from?

Comes in on your EPG load....i.e. Zap2it.

Can you zip and email your gbpvr.db3 file to me at support@devnz.com?

Maybe/ maybe not related, I described a genre issue in a different thread where I have multiple entries - for example I have about 9 identical "movie" genres listed. I can post my logs later if necessary.

I'm having a similar issue. Most, but not all, of my genres are listed 3 times. So I have Action 3 times, Adventure 3 times, Agriculture 3 times etc.

Any ideas how I wound up with this, and more importantly, how I fix it?:o

Thanks for the help!

I have genres listed 68 times repeated for each. Guide data is Zap2it with full reload set and 11 days of data. I cleared it once a few months back with an empty epg followed by a full reload. I just ignore it.

Do you all have the option to do a complete EPG reload checked in the GBPVR config (check box on Capture Sources tab of GBPVR Config)?
