DVR-MS recordings no longer convert to mpeg.
Task manager shows gbpvrconvert.exe running at 99 percent.

HD rarely works.

Avi/Xvid videos seem to make gbpvr crash every other time.

SD programming seems to lock up from time to time.

I'm honestly considering giving mythtv another try just because I know it will be way more stable.

This is pretty common for ATSC from what I can gather. The Cyberlink and ATI mux dont seem to like it - not much I can do about this. If you just recording/watching/deleting, then just leave it as dvr-ms, its a perfectly good format.

Are you talking about playback? What does the crash say? Reproduce, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look. I'm sure it'll just come down to the decoders you're using, since this is what it always ends up being for other users that have had similar problems in the past.

What do you mean - recording, or watching live tv? Again, zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Ok, fair enough.

So I've been playing with mythv.

Quite ironically HDTV was the easiest to setup. 720 p live tv plays perfect but 1080 is a bit choppy.

However I can't get usb uirt to work.

Just thought I'd post a follow up to what I was saying.
