I got a dvb sattelite Capture card of dvbworld, I`m getting often a Blue screen from Windows XP Proffessionel "IRQL not less or equal" and that the driver of this card is responsible for this Bluescreen.
I can`t find another driver for this card by the manufacturer, does anyone else had ever this problem too.

Yep on occasion but as you said its the driver, nothing to do with gbpvr other than the fact it uses the driver. This is why I tend to stick with hauppauge cards as there are many drivers for each card. I do have a kworld tv card with about 2 drivers in existance for my card and you guss it this is the one that causes the crashing.

I used to get this on a Twinhan card, sometimes when it wasnt even being used. I found the problem went away when I moved it from next to the video card to one slot further away. The heat near the passive heat sink on the video card must have been too much for it. I havnt had a single reoccurrance.

or moving the card resulted in it using a different / non-shared interrupt

Yeah, could have been, but that heat sink was pretty damn hot and only about half a millimeter away from a large important looking chip on the bottom of the Twinhan card.

I´ve displayed here mine motherboard and marked the used slot`s.

My question is:

Will i notice, will my system be much slower if i displace my graphic card from 16 X PCI Express to 4X PCI EXpress, to free one PCI slot and to save the capture cards from hotness.

I use my system primaraly as a Media Center and not to Gamble

No you haven't!

I very much doubt you will see any difference at all as the amount of data being sent to the card is so low.

you say the tuner is a "dvb sattelite Capture card of dvbworld" - is there a precise model name or chipset number (may be written in the chip itself).

I don't have a satellite card so I can;t really help with specifics here.

did you try moving your graphics card?
If so, you could also try moving the dvb world card to the higher pci slot. it may then use a different IRQ.

try it without the technisat card for a while.

does it only BSOD when recording on this device?

can't think of anything else
