Matrox Parhelia?

Hi, has anyone used this as the graphics card with GBPVR?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Parhelias are not suitable for use in a PVR but cannot find the article now (if it ever existed). It may be something to do with the drivers and Media Player or MPEG playback?

Ooh, now I remember - I think it was to do with DirectX support.

What level of DirectX compliance is required?

It's wierd that when I ask a question it triggers my feeble brain into coming up with it's own answer....

Apparently the current driver implements DirectX 8.1 compiled with the DirectX 9.0 SDK.

Is that bad?
