PicturesPlugin with MediaMVP Slideshow

I have uploaded a new version of the Pictures plugin (it's been a while I know!:

version 1.4 for GB-PVR v0.21
- Slideshow is now compatible with the MediaMVP provided GBPVR v0.21 or above is installed.
- Slideshow default length per slide changed to 7 seconds
- Added Image Caption functionality: If a file exists in the same directory as an image with the
same name as the image, but with a .txt extension, the first line of that file is displayed
as a caption to the image in full screen mode.

This plugin is not allowing spaces in the directory name when setting it through the config.exe tool.

Great plug-in none the less. Exactly what I bought the MVP for, and GBPVR makes the hardware even better!

Glad you like the plugin, I can't recreate your problem here though, do you have any other special characters in the pathname?  Are you sure it's a valid path? Are there any security issues (networked path)?

What are the first symptoms of things not working?

Hey Sub, The link on the plugins page does not work for the pictures plugin and it says v1.5. Is that really v1.4 or was there a small update?

This was worth the wait!!!!!!! Great job!!

The width stretch factor allows me to finally fill my TV screen with pictures. I used 1.1 and it works great. Nice job on allowing the user to change the speed of the slideshow on the fly too. Just click up or down on the remote to adjust the speed in seconds.

My MVP finally lives up to my expections and more with the help of Sub, ecrous and all of the other developers!!!

Question - can the slideshow be made to loop? It would make a nice screensaver for a wall-hung plasma tv!

That makes sense JohnO, I'll have to get that done.

Speeking of screensavers, sub, Could we have a screensaver API to hook into? (I guess GBPVR pages and plugin pages would have to specify when they are prepared to allow the screensaver to kick in)
