Hello,

first of all this SW is great Smile I tried a lot of diferent SW before, but using the PVR-350 for output is just giving my hardware a good time.

Ok to my problem. My PVR-350 works fine, but my new Nova-T gives me Problems.

I can install it and get a pic in the capture card section, but I not get it work for live-tv. I have installed Intervideo, Cbyerlink and the SS mux.
I checked the muxchecker and it shows me also, that the mux are installed.
(I not see the Microsoft DVR-MS then I use the muxchecker.)

Then I choose in the misc section the above mentioned mux, but I either get a failure, or after a few seconds without a pic the live tv stops.

So what am I missing?

My configuration: XP SP2, PVR - 350, Nova-T (PCI), 512 MB, AS Rock GXS41, AMD XP 1800

are you using the tv out on the 350?

If so, try switching this off (as it is not supported anymore although I think a few people still use it)

after doing that, repeat the problem and upload you log files so that someone can take a look.

yes I am, that was the resion why I choose this program. Well anywy tnx for the hint. The softdevice is working ok, cpu use is not to bad, but it onley works with the analog input. As soon as I use the DVB-T card, I get on one channel a pic, but it is not moving - cpu usage is prety low then. So to me it seems, that it is not a problem with the HW Power.

What else can I do?

So still need the log? If so, where do I find it?

I assume that you were able to scan the channels ok in the config.exe?

try setting the mux to use dvr-ms to see if it is a mux issue (dvr-ms doesn;t appear in muxchecker). If that works ok then a) leave it at that! or b) try using a different cyberlink mux.

if it doesn;t work, you will need to attach your log files. see the sticky on posting support questions. it explains what log files you need to upload.

also make sure that you apply any relevant patches from the 99.12 support thread.

btw: A seperate tip: you need your channel names for the 350 and dvb card to be exactly the same if you want gbpvr to be able to record from either device for a channel that is common to both of them.

cpu usage when recording will be very low as all the dvb card has to do is to write the stream to disk. no encoding required.

in the 99.12 survival guide.

I don;t think there any patches that will help with your specific issue here but you will need to apply some of them before you "go live".

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: InterVideo Multiplexer
FILE: C:\Programme\InterVideo\Common\bin\ivimux.ax
VERSION: 3.0.88.0

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\WINDOWS\system32\MpgMux.ax
VERSION: 5.0.1307

Sorry couldn't find the "sticky on posting support questions" maybe my english isn't good enough for this expresion. So pls give me hint and I post the logs

Ok, that Cyberlink v5.0.1307 mux is certainly a decent one. I use the same one myself.

That sticky thread was here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16767. Only post the logs reproducing the problem with the 'hardware decoder' setting set to 'none - use software decoder' though. I no longer support the TV out on the PVR350 (dropped support for it nearly two years ago), and wont look to problems related to it.
