The theatre plugin basically only works for US zip codes, since the by SrChuck (and kudo's for Jorm's original work, of course!Winkmodified executable draws it's information from http://www.fandango.com and fandango only work with US cities and zipcodes.
Since we in the Netherlands have someting similar (http://www.belbios.nl) it must be possible to rewrite SrChucks executable for the Dutch situation, and maybe with city names instead of zipcodes, or maybe not, what do I know about programming [Image: cool.gif] .
So anybody out there feels he/she could do this?
I mean it would really be fun to have Dutch theatre listings in GB-PVR.
(I have Dutch (Amsterdam) weather already...Smile)

cheers,

I'm certain it would be possible to get Dutch theater listings, but the site (http://www.belbios.nl) that you pointed out I think would be difficult. It is very heavy on javascript and I don't see a plain and simple search form anywhere.. Then again, I don't read Dutch very well.. so I'm at a disadvantage.

Are there any other theater listing sites in the Netherlands that cover your area?

Here are some links that might be useful:
http://www.onstage.nl
http://www.biosagenda.nl
http://www.biosnet.nl/overig/filmladder.html
http://www.moviecity.nl/
http://www.filmladder.nl/hello.a....ie=7415
http://www.nfc.org/ser.html

I think filmladder.nl is the most promising site besides the arlier mentioned belbios.nl [Image: smile.gif]

It is a shame that there is not a general theater listing that can show at least several major countries. I had picked fandango based on its ease of parsing and suggestions of users on this fourm.

Right so, I suppose you couldn't pursuade Fandango to open a branch in the Netherlands, right? [Image: tounge.gif]
Now seriously, c'mon you did a great job and my American wife loves to see the listings of her home town. [Image: smile.gif]

BTW, I wouldn't go as far as to call The Netherlands a major country (16 mil. inhabitants), but still, thx

How do you like your Scythe Kamakaze2? I've been using a Thermaltake SilentBoost for my Athlon XP 2500+ and it seems to be doing a nice job. Curious about the performance of other solutions out there.

It's working great, keeps the system at the lowest RPM (there's a regulator attached) at a nice 98 F and at's inaudible from the couch.
BTW did you have a change at to take a peek at the other dutch movielinks?

The meedio add-on supports Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Norway, United Kingdom, and USA and it's in VB code, again I'm no programmer, others here have that gift [Image: smile.gif], but as I understand it, GB-PVR needs C++ or .Net code (am I right guys?).
Anyway the problem is not to write a plugin (for others that is [Image: rock.gif] ) but to find a site to get the listings from in a way the data obtained can be used.
I posted all Dutch sites I know in this thread and hope somebody can make something out of it.
But THX for the post anyway

cheers, arttext
