I'm newbie and have read the BDA Mux sticky thread. What I can't figure out is how to legitamately get a mux. I've both Cyberlink PowerDVD and Happauge software that came with my HVR-3000.

However muxchecker doesn't find anything. Shouldn't the Cyberlink and Hauppage mux be already installed on my system? If so how do I get GBPVR to find them?

Muxes dont come with software like Cyberlink PowerDVD. Its just a DVD player, and has no need for a mux. They do come with other software like Cyberlink PowerVCR etc.

There is a Hauppauge mux that comes with their software, but its not usuable in third party applications like GB-PVR. It just crashes if you try.

Have you looked at the mux catalogue thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=25630

I use the Cyberlink 5.0.1307, which is the best one I found after a load of
testing.

You could find it here from an earlier thread :-
