Which is why some are warning that we should all sign up for SD so that a viable and cheap EPG source is available. Looks like they are doing pretty good so far and perhaps when the fall season starts even better. There were early warnings that these free apps could have the source pulled out from underneath which is why I went with the MCE option and then signed up for SD about the second day they were live to the general public. Support SD!

Agreed. There should never have been any expectation that these listings would always be there.

Interesting post on the Go 4 TV messageboards:

Quote:Re: no listings (Not rated) 17-Sep-07 03:29 pm Calm down everyone. I emailed Pablo directly this morning at Yahoo! Attached below is his response:

------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------------------
We have uncovered some server errors that are messing up the listings for YGTV - we're working on them and I'll send you an update as soon as we find
out more.

Pablo

I suspect that those "server errors" were increased load from the 5 or six different apps pulling the data. If the listings do come back, I expect them to be in a more secure form. This would mean that they have to change some of the Go 4 TV code and release a new build. I fully expect them to close the API calls on Go 4 TV as well so the listings would continue to be unobtainable.

Well darnit, looks like I will end up going the SD route. That does irk me some but in reality $2.50 a month to have these great PVR's is still a killer deal. Thanks for all your hard work on this, it was fun while it lasted!

True, my program works too, but I think since i finally got SD all setup I'll be sticking with that since have about 9mo left.

Data download is coming up empty again. Maybe it is dead for good this time?

Yes, I just checked and I'm now getting data again. I don't know how to explain the lack of data for the previous two days, however.
