I would just like to make a couple suggestions of things to try before asking a question here.
  • Before asking if a plugin exists for X, go look on the wiki
  • Before asking if skin X supports plugin Y, go look on the wiki
  • Before asking if skin/plugin X is still supported, go look on the wiki

We (the developers/community) try to keep the wiki as up to date as possible, but it is (as is every wiki) a work in progress. So if something is wrong or missing, feel free to go ahead and make the fix yourself, or just let someone know.

cheers

P.S. Just let me know if you think something should be added to this post Smile

Maybe others are the same as me - it was over a week before I noticed the wiki. As I found GB-PVR through Google I was taken straight to a forum post where I found a link to the .MSI download in the announcements section. It was only when I used another PC to look up something I put in gbpvr.com and found the wiki.

And I wouldn't want a sticky like that being taken as "don't post you newb or we will we laugh you off the internet!" and effecting this really good forum.

This is the first forum or any internet related discussion group I have ever read and it has set my standard. As a result, the few times I have tried to use other forums and didn't get a response within a couple of days (when I would have got a response within an hour or less on this forum), I am surprised. The wiki has a lot of information and I still hope to contribute soon but I am not surprised that the same question gets asked many times in different ways. For me, it has typically been because my keywords for the search function are not the same as the ones used to post the answer. What I appreciate is when someone can redirect me to the correct post with the answer. This also helps when I am trying to find a past post and can't remember the correct keyword for searching. Someone else's question will then redirect me to the answer I was looking for!

I edited my first post to make it look more formal, let me know if there is something that needs to be added.

Can a MOD please change the title of the thread... "can I get a sticky!" isnt exactly the most descriptive title :p
