Hi,

I have seen many people commenting on the awesome animation on the front screen, I dont mean to sound negative here, but I dont see it! I assume I have an issue whereby I am not seeing the full impact of the animations or some setting is maybe screwed up somewhere on my machine. Is it at all possible that someone could figure out a way of providing a short video of a working animated screen so I can see what I should be getting.

Thanks

Yep it is smooth AND fast. Ok, I wasnt thinking of that as an animation but if that is what is meant then I see it. Thanks for helping me work that out.

normally sub has a list of things he has changed but he hasnt done it so you just have to guess this time
that was the main thing people didnt like about it it didnt have the flashy menus that mce has media portal has them aswell
but the big thing gbpvr has always had is reliabilty and ease of setup (if you wanted it to be untill you have a play)
so i guess now it has to be said it must be the best although i always thought that anyway

I know there's another thread on this but it seems to have gone off topic so I thought I'd post here instead.

Just upgraded to the latest version and getting fairly jerky animations scrolling on the main menu. Anyone else getting this? I've tried launching the prog with the -fse switch but doesn't seem to make any difference.

Whats your Live TV like with fast motion? I had an issue with jerky motion looked a bit like when you add mouse pointer trailing on if you have eber seen it. this was caused by my graphics card not supporting Directx9 in the hardware swopped my card and it went away. PVRx2 only supports VMR9 options for video although you can set the other optins there are ignored (my understanding from previous posts)

I hope this helps.

does your GPU support directx9 in hardware? I had a radeon 9200 and it only support 8.1 changed it to a 9600pro which supports 9.0 and it worked fine after that. not sayings the correct answer just my experience so far, early days for 1.08.
